Job Description

As our General Foreman, you'll support our Superintendent by overseeing all site-specific construction activities. You will manage budgets, schedules, performance, and profitability for commercial projects while leading and motivating our on-site team. Effective communication and collaboration with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and field staff are essential.

Your Duties Include:

1. Supporting the Superintendent in providing leadership and direction on project activities
2. Assisting in identifying and generating requests for information
3. Planning and managing site manpower and materials
4. Completing documentation such as logbooks, safety records, and timesheets
5. Monitoring productivity and implementing corrective actions as needed
6. Managing subcontractor relationships to ensure timelines and scope are maintained
7. Promoting sustainable construction practices and minimizing environmental impact

Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certification
• Experience in commercial and civil construction
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Willingness to travel and work out of town
• CTST 2020 certification
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing
• Infection Control Certification preferred
