Job description

Mativ is a global supplier of bonding solutions and a manufacturer of adhesive-based products for the Healthcare and Industrial markets. Our Renfrew, Ontario site is currently accepting applications for full-time Utility Operator.

Position Responsibilities :

Reporting to the designated Safety and Production Supervisor, the Utility Operator will be responsible for but not limited to the following :

• Operate a variety of machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Perform quality checks on products as required
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Basic computer knowledge and skill
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

This position requires the ability to learn five (5) separate machines (Slicer, Core Cutter, Band Wrap, Rewind Machine, and Shrink Wrap machine). Candidate must possess the ability to adapt and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications :

• Grade 12 education
• 3-5 years proven experience, ideally in a fast-moving dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 12-hour schedule

Rate of Pay : starts at $23.26 an hour.

RRSP : 6.5% company RRSP contribution after 672 hours of employment.
