Job Description

Provide technical support by assisting the IT management group with various proprietary software and hardware applications, such as conducting phishing tests and following up on IT tickets.

1. Collaborate with helpdesk and network technicians to gather information about new and ongoing IT projects.
2. Communicate technical information effectively.
3. Maintain a good understanding of Cyber-Security awareness.
4. Proficiently use ticketing, monitoring, and asset IT management systems.
5. Work efficiently within a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment.
6. Demonstrate escalation best practices, time management, and follow-up skills.
7. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Maintain a responsive and flexible attitude to meet operational business needs.
9. Be able to sit or stand for extended periods and move or lift related equipment as needed.
10. Willing to work outside of regular hours when required.
11. Preference will be given to applicants with a reliable personal vehicle.
12. Willing to use personal cell phones for business use; a phone allowance will be provided.
13. Some travel between business locations may be required.
14. Additional daily duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

1. Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in computer science or equivalent experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of supporting Windows environments.
3. Experience with Office 365 and advanced anti-virus/ransomware protection software, including understanding of security AI technology.
4. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and basic PowerShell scripting knowledge are assets.
5. Knowledge of NOC monitoring software and cyber-security training is an asset.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
7. Bilingual (French) is an asset.
