Why This Role is Open:
To meet the growing demand for our noise and vibration consulting services, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acoustics, Noise and Vibration Engineer to join the Toronto team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct noise and vibration modelling using industry-standard software (CadnaA, Stamson, STAMINA, TNM, RAP-ONE, EASE)
- Perform sound and vibration measurements using specialized equipment (Larson Davis, Coco-80)
- Conduct site visits to collect data and assess regulatory compliance
- Participate in noise monitoring programs
- Liaise with clients and troubleshoot issues independently
- Mentor junior staff on noise and vibration consulting services
- Contribute to business development and client engagement activities
- Assist in the preparation of proposals
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of consulting experience in noise and vibration assessments
- Engineering Degree (Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical preferred)
- P.Eng eligibility
- Working knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
- Experience with noise and vibration modelling software (CadnaA, Stamson, STAMINA, TNM, RAP-ONE, EASE)
- Experience with sound and vibration measurement equipment (Larson Davis, Coco-80)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with industrial noise and vibration assessments
- Experience on large commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Strong communication skills
