• Salary: $34.62 to $36.62 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 to 60 hours per week

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS and other navigation tools to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
• Obtain necessary permits for international cargo transport.
• Operate and drive tractor-trailers to transport goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding cargo and trip details.
• Record cargo info, hours of service, travel distance, and fuel consumption.
• Secure cargo and perform tarping as required.
