Job description

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire an Associate - Regulatory Client Outreach for their team with an initial contract of 12 months, which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid in the Toronto office.


Must-Have skills:

  1. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Client Onboarding, Trade Control/Trade Desk Support, or operations, preferably in the Capital Markets line of business.
  2. Familiarity with Dodd Frank (CFTC & SEC), CSA, EMIR, MiFID, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, CAT NMS, CIRO (IIROC).
  3. Familiarity with Capital Markets Clientele business and product knowledge.
  4. Familiarity with institutional clients including Asset managers, Insurance companies, Pensions, and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
  5. Good research, analysis, and documentation skills to collect, validate, and consolidate the required data/information into appropriate formats.
  6. Expert use of S&P Global (formerly IHS Markit) portal for access to regulatory data and documentation.

Nice to Have:

  1. Knowledge of Retail, Commercial, and Wealth Business and their clients in FI is an asset.
  2. Data management experience and applicable techniques.
