Are you a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering top-notch facilities-related city infrastructure projects? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of various projects, including new construction, renewal, alteration, rehabilitation, and improvements to buildings, building systems, and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the selection of consultants and manage resources effectively.
2. Ensure smooth project communications and coordination.
3. Lead preliminary and detailed design phases.
4. Manage budgeting, selection of contractors, and construction and commissioning processes.
5. Administer contracts, maintain accurate records, and evaluate project outcomes.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
2. Registered or eligible for registration in BC.
3. Minimum of 5 years of applicable Engineering/Construction/Project Management experience, ideally involving contract administration in the municipal building or facilities environment.
4. Proven ability to manage and coordinate technical staff, consultants, and contractors.
5. In-depth knowledge of applicable design standards, codes, and legislation.
6. PMP designation or other supplemental project management training is desirable.
