Job description

Genesis are seeking to hire a Repairs Executive for Genesis’s aircraft component trading subsidiary, ReGEN Aviation Limited.

The Repairs Executive will be responsible for the management and optimisation of aircraft and engine component repairs and will be integral in future transactions to contribute towards the upside potential of consignment/trading part sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for the preferred candidate to manage the repair and optimisation of aircraft and engine components within the component trading division of an established global aircraft leasing company, with strong long-term shareholders.

ResponsibilitiesInclude

  • Actively support and manage ReGEN’s existing worldwide customer base through the repair of aircraft and engine components.
  • Identifying new customer’s and markets for ReGEN repair management and assist with strategy planning for new market penetration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, MRO’s and within the commercial aircraft leasing industry.
  • Identification, creation, and optimisation of new ways to manage the repair of aircraft and engine components.
  • Proactively executing on the repair strategy in line with the repair budget.
  • Ensure all repair orders are regularly updated on the system.
  • Support the deal team and asset management team on ad-hoc projects as they arise.
  • Coordinate with various team members and vendors - technical, legal, etc., to close transactions.
  • Negotiate with repair vendors to obtain best price, terms, warranty and service levels.
  • Provide regular reports to ReGEN management team on repair progress and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong, professional relationships with both Genesis and ReGEN suppliers and operators.

Additional Functions

  • Represent Genesis and ReGEN at global aviation events and conferences.
  • Visit new operators, MRO’s and lessees to support the component repair and trading opportunities.

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of repair experience; preferably in the aviation/component sector.
  • Experience using Quantum preferred but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage large and/or complex projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a keen focus on quality, attention to detail, and a proactive commercial approach
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and goal-oriented mindset
