Job description

Our client is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice-President and board committees. This contract will be 4 months with the possibility of extension and offers the successful candidate the ability to work remotely or onsite. Please note that candidates must reside in Ottawa.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Manage communication and correspondence received by the VP and determine appropriate course of action
  • Draft formal communications
  • Review and prepare data and reports
  • Calendar management
  • Prepare agendas and briefing notes
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate management and staff meetings
  • Support the Board of Directors and associated committees
  • Schedule, prepare and distribute documents, participate, and record meeting minutes of the Board of Directors

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Post-secondary education
  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience at the executive level
  • Prior experience working with a Board of Directors

About the Job

The role would be offering $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
