Overview

Compensation ranges from $102,000 to $130,000. Residents of Quebec, Canada, or nearby areas such as Mississauga, Nicolet, or Athelstan are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance (“QA”) Manager will be responsible for developing and managing QC environments for bottled water production across multiple Canadian sites. This role involves leading the implementation of the Primo Brands Waters Quality System, monitoring conformance to specifications for raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

  1. Ensure compliance and record keeping for all quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities.
  2. Prepare for and resolve issues related to all company quality audits.
  3. Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for quality and customer complaint issues within the plant.
  4. Serve as the primary plant liaison for quality and complaint issues with Customer Service, Consumer Affairs, and consumers.
  5. Lead initiatives related to the Primo Brands Waters Quality System.
  6. Maintain permits and licenses for the plant.
  7. Manage budgeting, purchasing, and inventory of plant supplies.
  8. Oversee Food Safety Quality Systems (FSQS), FSSC 22000 standards, and regulatory requirements across multiple sites.
  9. Represent the plant in quality forums and initiatives.
  10. Coordinate with vendors and develop good relationships.
  11. Manage and develop the Plant QA Department.
  12. Develop initiatives to improve plant performance and ensure compliance.
  13. Provide leadership to the QA Department and liaise with corporate QA, laboratories, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biological sciences, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5-8 years of QA management experience in beverages or food products.
  • Bilingual in English and French preferred.
  • Experience managing microbiology laboratories.
  • Knowledge of SPC, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in administrative and computer skills.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and mature leadership qualities.
