As Our New Scheduling Coordinator, You Will

  • Work closely with the Village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled on a daily basis.
  • Send out shift requests as per the village collective agreement.
  • Collaborate with the village leaders to plan for vacation coverage of team members.
  • Prioritize village needs as per the vacancy report.
  • Be the point of contact for shift fulfillment with the charge nurse and leaders.
  • Connect with employment agencies when shifts are not internally filled.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience while acting as the first point of contact for team member questions about schedules, call-ins, and open shifts.
  • Support administrative assistance with office coverage.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences for incoming queries from residents, families, and team members.
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.

To Be Successful As The Scheduling Coordinator, You Will

  • Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Be efficient in managing conflicting priorities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs.
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.

It Would Be An Asset If You Have

  • Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home.
