Responsibilities

1. Direct the marketing strategies of establishments
2. Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments
3. Develop promotional materials
4. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
5. Market business services
6. Plan and control budget and expenditures
7. Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations
8. Establish distribution networks for products and services, initiate market research studies and analyze their findings
9. Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services
10. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the design, development and maintenance of Internet and Intranet sites to manage an organization’s Internet presence
