Job description

In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. Continuous improvement in quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Manager or Designate, and working under the clinical direction of the Electrodiagnostic Services (EDS) Supervisor or designate, this position performs Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing and equipment maintenance. The role includes providing test information to appropriate medical staff for interpretation, ensuring equipment functionality, maintaining supply inventory, booking patient appointments, maintaining records, and keeping statistics as required.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

Grade 12 plus one year's recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
