Job description

IO Solutions is looking for a Recruiter for its Fredericton office. Under the supervision of the HR Director, the Recruiter’s mission is to help the Human Resources department select the right candidate profile for various positions to be filled in the center. A successful Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis for current needs and lead initiatives as guided by the Marketing & Communications department. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires andretainsthe best employees, while growing astrong talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations and intern program.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Manage candidates coming from internal employee referrals
  • Participate in job fairs and community events organized by associations for more visibility
  • Manage intern program by conducting orientation sessions with new employees
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Provide appropriate, relevant and timely feedback to applicants
  • Maintain employee data up to date
  • Perform other related human resources tasks

Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of the Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
