Position Overview
Are you passionate about the media & entertainment industry? Autodesk is seeking a Senior Business Strategy Manager with experience in management consulting and the media entertainment industry. You will drive multiple strategy and growth plans for Autodesk's media entertainment division, requiring a deep understanding of the industry to inform important decisions.
Location: You can be based in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver (Hybrid/Remote Options Available) and will report to the Senior Director, M&E Business Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic planning process for the Media & Entertainment division.
- Collaborate with the industry strategy team to provide insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Work with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to influence and implement growth plans, including successful GTM approaches for new products and platforms.
- Lead market research and analyze data and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Develop relationships with partners, including executives, customers, and industry associations.
- Utilize consulting expertise to identify strategic opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Lead plans for new offerings and products, including business model frameworks, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
- Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate the success of growth plans.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, or a strategy & operations role within the gaming or technology industry, with at least 5 years in the M&E industry.
- Expertise in Excel and storytelling using PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.

Salary Transparency
For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $154,700 and $212,740, based on experience and location. Additional compensation includes annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
