Our fleet includes pneumatic tankers, flat decks, step decks, curtain side trailers, vans, side dump, and end dump trailers.


Reporting to the Admin Department, the Service Writer will primarily support the maintenance department. This role involves managing maintenance records, scheduling repairs, and ensuring maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently. Additional administrative support for Safety and Admin may be required.

Scope
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Create and manage purchase and work orders.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Support driver and dispatch maintenance needs.
  • Manage tire, tow, and mobile services for units and vendors.
  • Maintain tire inventory records for offsite locations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for services.
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
  • Perform data entry and keep accurate records in the maintenance management system.
  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Perform other duties and paperwork as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience in maintenance or administrative roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service and professionalism.
  • Experience with People Net and/or MIR is an asset.
