Memorial University maintains a Candidate List of individuals interested in short-term contractual or temporary positions as they become available. These positions include clerical, secretarial, administrative, accounting, and student support roles.
Duties may include providing general office reception: preparing letters, correspondence, and reports; sorting and distributing mail; replying to inquiries via email, in person, or phone from faculty, staff, and students; arranging meetings and room bookings; making travel arrangements; and other related tasks as required.
Minimum experience of 1-3 years in clerical, secretarial, or administrative activities; completion of a two-year office or business administration program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are assets.
Qualified individuals will be evaluated based on academic training, experience, and demonstrated skills and abilities. Willingness to work short-term employment periods is required.
