Seeking a Medical Director of Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. The role oversees outpatient care, guides medical directors of quality for primary care, facilitates office flow, addresses clinical aspects, and supervises outpatient medical practitioners.
The Primary Care Medical Director will dedicate approximately 12 hours per week (1/3 of scheduled time) to administrative responsibilities and 28 hours per week (2/3 of time) as a primary care clinician. The position involves collaborative work within the healthcare team at the Health Centers and Hospital.
Located in northern Vermont, serving an area across three counties near the Canadian border. The hospital is a federally designated Critical Access Hospital with 20+ beds. Just two hours from Montreal and four hours from Boston or Maine Seacoast, Barton offers a scenic, family-friendly environment.
