What will be your daily pursuit?

We are seeking a dynamic and organized professional to oversee event coordination and execution for all Jasper lodging Food & Beverage event operations. The ideal candidate will focus on driving efficiency, reducing labor costs, and ensuring team readiness through structured training programs. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence across all Jasper Lodging properties.

What will you do in this job?

  1. Act as the primary liaison with Reservations and Sales Teams (GEM, Travel Trade) to ensure seasonal readiness for events.
  2. Provide onsite daily support to the Food and Beverage team, including room setup, event execution, training, and assistance with in-house events.
  3. Develop and implement training materials (Banquet Training Manual, Checklists, and SOPs) to standardize processes and event execution.
  4. Review and oversee all regional BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and coordinate with LOB Managers to align schedules and labor models to optimize staffing and reduce LTR.
  5. Monitor and communicate last-minute event changes in Delphi, ensuring updates reach the relevant teams promptly.
  6. Lead the training of new employees for event execution and service excellence.
  7. Manage OpenTable reservations, ensuring restaurant spaces are optimized according to bookings.
  8. Oversee F&B readiness and client satisfaction during events, including room setups, event management, and post-event billing accuracy.
  9. Coordinate and oversee packaged F&B contracts with C-RES, Travel Trade Sales Teams, and other key groups.
  10. Collaborate with GEM Team and act as the main point of contact for event organizers and clientele.
  11. Ensure event signage and buffet labels are accurate and properly displayed before events.
  12. Verify actual sales versus bookings using Delphi and Maestro to ensure financial accuracy.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  1. 3-5 years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage, ideally with multi-unit or event-specific roles.
  2. Proven ability to manage large, complex operations while reducing labor costs and driving efficiency.
  3. Strong knowledge of current Food & Beverage trends and best practices.
  4. Exceptional organizational and training skills, with experience creating best-in-class training materials and onboarding programs.
  5. Adept at building relationships and working collaboratively with diverse teams, including seasonal staff and line supervisors.
  6. Skilled at inspiring and leading teams, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving performance.
  7. Experience with financial management and creating memorable guest experiences.
  8. Knowledge of systems such as Delphi, Salesforce, OpenTable, and other hotel/event management platforms is an asset.
