Responsibilities

  1. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  2. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  3. Evaluate daily operations
  4. Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  5. Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
  6. Monitor staff performance
  7. Plan and organize daily operations
  8. Recruit staff
  9. Set staff work schedules
  10. Supervise staff
  11. Train staff
  12. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  13. Conduct performance reviews
  14. Organize and maintain inventory
  15. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  16. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  17. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  18. Address customers' complaints or concerns
