Job description

WE’RE HIRING: FIELD OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Based in our rural office - Rockyview County (East of Cross Iron Mills) + occasional job site visits

Full-time | Mon–Fri

Wage Range: $28.00 - $34.00/hr

At Landform, we shape outdoor spaces that connect people to place — and we’ve built a culture that values people first, every step of the way. We’re growing fast, and we need a Field Operations Coordinator who thrives on structure, keeps teams aligned, and knows how to turn big-picture plans into daily momentum.

This is a role for someone with strong organizational instincts, a well-rounded skill set, and the confidence to jump into a fast-moving environment with clarity and calm. You’ll work behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly — from scheduling and communication to systems and field support.

What You’ll Do:
  • Act as the bridge between field crews and office operations — you’re the one who keeps everyone on the same page
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials across multiple active projects
  • Facilitate daily huddles with foremen and maintain our meeting rhythm to keep the flow moving
  • Support supervisors and foremen in using Gantt charts and task planning tools
  • Maintain and update our master resource schedule (labor, fleet, and equipment)
  • Track equipment rentals and usage through fleet software
  • Serve as executive assistant to the Operations Manager — helping prioritize tasks, track key deliverables, and keep the bigger picture in focus
  • Collaborate on operational systems and tools that improve efficiency across the board.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently — keeping the field and office aligned, problems solved, and progress on track
You Bring:
  • 2–4 years’ experience in operations, project coordination, or scheduling (construction or field-based industries preferred)
  • Proven organizational skills — you bring structure, follow-through, and attention to detail to everything you do
  • Confidence using scheduling tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Project, Gantter, and B2W or similar)
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and across teams and tools
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable with software systems and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of resource management, fleet coordination, or jobsite logistics
  • Bonus: background in landscaping or construction environments

You’ll need:

  • Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
  • A proactive mindset and ability to stay ahead of fast-moving project needs
  • Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative spirit
  • Comfort working in a rural setting and on active job sites
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist with field logistics when necessary
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with safety protocols or willingness to continue to learn
