Job Description:

1. Load, unload and transport construction materials.
2. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
3. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials.
4. Perform pre-operational inspection.
5. Clean and lubricate cranes.
6. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
7. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
8. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
9. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
10. Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards.
11. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
12. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
13. Operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels.
14. Level earth to fine grade specifications.
15. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines.
16. Perform routine maintenance work.
17. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
18. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
19. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
20. Direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Experience: Experience an asset.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week.
