Johnson and Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Director, Transformation Leader- IT ( Commercial Transformation) role located in New Jersey.
The Senior Director, Transformation Leader – IT (Commercial Transformation) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end IT strategy and execution of Project Butterfly, our commercial transformation initiative. This role will Lead the digital enablement of commercial capabilities, ensuring alignment between technology, business objectives, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and execution-focused leader with deep expertise in IT transformation, commercial applications/solutions, and change management.
This position requires close collaboration with Senior Executives, Business Leaders, and Technology Teams to modernize commercial processes, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and enhance data-driven decision-making. The Sr. Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the transformation by optimizing systems, streamlining operations, and enabling scalable growth through digital innovation.
- Drive the IT strategy for commercial transformation, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
- Partner with senior business and IT stakeholders to identify key transformation opportunities, establish priorities, and execute a multi-year roadmap.
- Lead the modernization and digitalization of commercial systems, including CRM, CPQ, Omnichannel, and customer analytics platforms.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, integrated IT solutions that both enhance and unify sales, marketing, customer service, and revenue operations.
- Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing enterprise systems, minimizing disruptions and maximizing business value.
- Lead program teams of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and governance of transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external partners, to ensure collaboration and effective execution of all transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, data and program governance requirements.
- Integrate the transformation of commercial data architecture, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Translate strategic imperatives into actionable transformation plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Ensure integration of advanced technologies that promote innovation and create competitive advantages in marketing, sales, service delivery, and data analytics.
- Measure capability maturity, TCO, and tech debt for commercial business solutions and capabilities.
- Partner to develop and execute a comprehensive change & communications management strategy to drive adoption of new commercial IT solutions.
- Collaborate with SI partners and peers to facilitate end-to-end commercial business process capabilities.
- Identify and manage risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the sustained success of transformation efforts.
- Effectively measure and drive value creation of technology investments and priorities
- Manage technology spend and create guardrails for cost efficiencies.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a strong background in commercial systems and digital transformation.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale IT-enabled commercial transformation initiatives in a complex, global organization.
- Deep expertise in commercial technologies such as CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), CPQ, ERP integration, eCommerce, Omni-Channel and data analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of commercial business processes, including sales operations, marketing automation, field service and customer engagement.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams, executive stakeholder engagement, and change management.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and traditional methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
173,000.00 - 299,000.00 USD Annually
Additional Description For Pay Transparency
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
