The Role

The Engineering Department maintains the hotel’s physical structure according to Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge’s standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety. As a Maintenance Attendant, you will be responsible for various repair and maintenance tasks, requiring basic construction skills, organization, and effective communication. We are looking for craftsmen and craftswomen to join our team.

Job Duties

• Respond to guest room calls
• Perform minor drywall repairs and painting
• Change light bulbs
• Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot TV and guest door lock issues
• Conduct routine rounds of mechanical rooms and equipment
• Perform other duties as required

Employment Experience and Educational Requirements

Candidates should have experience in:

• General carpentry (rough and finish)
• Interior and exterior painting, drywall repair (patching and caulking)
• Minor plumbing and electrical work
• Flooring repair and installation, general home repairs and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail
