Job description

Are you a 433A Licensed Industrial Millwright seeking a permanent night shift? A leading food manufacturing company is expanding its maintenance team due to growth initiatives. Straight night shift. ~ Monday-Friday 11 : 00 PM -7 : 00 AM – Stable & consistent schedule. ~$45 / hour plus premiums and overtime pay. ~ Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and malfunctions on various production lines, including mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing faulty or worn mechanical components, conducting other routine maintenance tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Complete regular preventive maintenance checklists on machinery, which includes tasks such as inspecting and servicing pumps, chains, belts, pulleys, control panels, valves, air solenoids, actuators, and checking oil levels. Request spare parts when needed and maintain detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation. Licensed Millwright 433A, certified to work in Ontario. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food and packaging. Strong knowledge of electronic controls, high-speed packaging equipment, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Superior knowledge of packaging line setup, palletizers, tube lines, and mixers. Boiler experience is an asset. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment.
