What will your typical day look like?

As the ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery Engineer joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams across Deloitte Technology to design and operate cutting-edge processes and solutions aimed at digitally representing our IT landscape across complex hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. This includes innovating with technologies such as Cloud Discovery, Service Mapping, and ServiceNow.

You will also have the opportunity to work within the Configuration Management space and participate in projects related to Event Management and ITOM to expand your skillset.

Specific responsibilities will include :

• Integrate, operate, and support CMDB ingestion methods, including Discovery, Cloud Discovery, and API ingestion using IRE across on-premise and cloud providers (Azure, AWS & Google).
• Collaborate with teams to manage Discovery errors and identify root causes to automate CMDB data entry.
• Partner with various groups to integrate, discover, and secure our IT landscape, ensuring data reconciliation with technology rules (IRE).
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by leveraging platform capabilities to reduce technical debt and automate processes.
• Work with diverse teams and vendor partners to transform IT processes, integrating AI technologies, ServiceNow, Business Architecture, and cloud orchestration tools.
• Participate in integrating monitoring solutions into a workflow engine using ServiceNow for automation and self-healing.
• Analyze client requirements and design technical solutions based on current architecture and platform capabilities.

About You

Skills and Experience :

• 5-7 years managing or operating IT Discovery and CMDB solutions, with at least 3 years on the ServiceNow platform.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist and/or Certified System Administrator.
• Experience with data governance and automation in hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
• Knowledge of automating processes, customer interactions, AI, and machine learning concepts.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, with eligibility for a bonus program. Deloitte offers competitive salaries, benchmarking, and recognizes individual contributions.
