Detailed Overview:

Supporting Fraser Health's Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments:

Providing financial and business advisory services, reviewing departmental financial data, and assisting in budget preparation.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial, statistical, and costing information, assess operational performance, and recommend improvements.
2. Support clients in preparing operating and capital budgets.
3. Assist in analysis and costing of new programs and changes.
4. Attend client meetings, prepare educational sessions, and support budgeting and reporting.
5. Analyze financial statement variances and activity measures for reporting.
6. Advise clients on costing, budgeting, and responsibility reporting.
7. Provide orientation on financial reports to new managers.
8. Assist with allocation of grants and prepare related documentation.
9. Support managers and finance personnel on financial matters.
10. Oversee physician payment allocations.
11. Participate in committees as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: CPA designation or university degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or Health Administration; five years of related experience in healthcare finance or equivalent.

Competencies: Leadership aligned with Fraser Health practices, teamwork, analytical skills, proficiency in PC applications, client-focused service, adaptability, and physical ability to perform duties.
