A leading health authority is seeking a skilled Social Worker to address complex psychosocial issues within a medical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work and have a strong commitment to patient care and professional growth. This role involves extensive collaboration with healthcare staff and community resources, ensuring the highest quality of service for patients.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, performs professional social work of advanced complexity. Assists in resolving complex psychosocial problems. Carries out a variety of casework and counselling methods; consults extensively with hospital staff and community agencies regarding the psychosocial aspects of the patient's situation and participates in the training of Social Work students.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceMasters of Social Work degree (M.S.W.) from an accredited school of Social Work required. Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers. Related social work experience, preferably in a medical setting, and demonstrated clinical competence.
