JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a high-performingAccount Executive (AE) to join our sales team and drive new business growth and revenue expansion. As an AE, you will be responsible forclosing new deals, expanding existing customer accounts, andworking closely with SDRs, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure a seamless sales process.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in a B2B, relational sales approach. Prior experience in a SaaS context is not required, but you must be comfortable at using and demoing software, and you must be able to master different software solutions quickly. You will own the full sales cycle, from qualified lead handoff to negotiation and deal closing. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and flexible in tactics, and will be a team player who is willing to take on responsibilities as needed for the sake of meeting the team’s objectives. A background in sheds, portable buildings, construction, or other related industries is a plus. As part of a global team, the ideal candidate will be available to meet with clients in US business hours, and from time to time with colleagues during Indochina Time office hours. Travel will be required on average 1x per quarter to attend conferences, trade shows, and meetings.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As anAccount Executive, your responsibilities will include:
1. New Business Development & Sales Execution:
- Own the full sales cycle, fromdiscovery call to contract close.
- Follow up onqualified leads and prospects for new ones.
- Conductproduct demos, identify client requirements and pain points, and present tailored sales pitches and follow-up sequences.
- Accurately assess requirements and collaborate with the Production team for pricing estimations.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tomeet and exceed revenue targets.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with company pricing and terms.
- Attend conferences and expos to generate new client opportunities.
2. Expansion & Upsell Opportunities:
- Partner withCustomer Success & Growth Managers to identifyupsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to align sales strategies with customer goals.
- Maintain strong client relationships to increasecustomer lifetime value.
- Maintain an accurate andup-to-date pipeline in CRM.
- Regularly reportsales performance metrics to the Sales Manager/Director.
- Ensure all sales activities are logged, tracked, and measured against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure contact and deal records in the CRM are tagged with accurate data for analytics, marketing segmentation, and targeted outreach campaigns.
3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication:
- Work closely withSDRs to refine prospecting and lead qualification processes.
- Partner withMarketing to provide feedback on lead quality and messaging effectiveness, including curating client testimonials, updating sales materials, sales scripts, follow-up procedures, presentations, and other sales and marketing assets.
- Align withCustomer Success to ensure smooth handoffs post-sale and maintain strong relationships, including project requirements and psychographic insights into the clients' needs and pain points.
Work Information:
- On-Target Earnings(OTE): $92,000 – $135,000 CAD per year.
- Base Salary: $43,000 – $65,000 CAD per year.
- Bonuses & Incentives: Monthly performance-based incentives.
- Type of work:Remote Contractor (collaborate with Sales Team & International Production Team).

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- 2-5 years of experience inB2B sales, preferably in aSaaS or Digital Marketing context.
- Proven track record ofmeeting or exceeding sales quotas ($700K – $1.5M+ in New ARR annually).
- Strongnegotiation andclosing skills with experience handlingcomplex sales cycles.
- Familiarity withCRM tools and sales automation platforms.
- Proven track record of arelational sales approach, with experience selling tosmall to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) andrural or blue collar clientele preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
