As a Civil Engineering Designer working in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will create innovative designs and bring concepts and ideas to life. You will work on large-scale construction and wind farm projects, ranging from several million dollars to over $1 billion. You will collaborate with project, surveying, and electrical design teams in a synergistic design process.

What You Will Do

• Interpret templates for transporting turbine components, specifically wind turbine blades;
• Design horizontal and vertical road layouts while adhering to design parameters;
• Design work areas for project activities;
• Design drainage systems required for roads and work areas;
• Develop the layout of the collector network in accordance with electrical designer guidelines;
• Create plans at different stages of the design process;
• Perform quantity calculations for materials needed in construction.

This role could be for you if you have

• A technical diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or relevant experience;
• A minimum of 5 years in a similar role;
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD software;
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and precision;
• Ability to work autonomously and enjoy teamwork.

Additional asset :

• Knowledge of ArcGIS software
