Trojan Safety Services Ltd is seeking professional individuals with positive attitudes to join our team. We are actively recruiting for the position of PCP to work in and around Fort St John. Our personnel are crucial to on-site operations, and we are looking for independent, enthusiastic, and motivated emergency medical personnel to join us.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care according to Trojan safety medical protocols.
- Deliver medical care within the scope of practice.
- Represent Trojan Safety in a positive and professional manner.
- Handle and respond effectively to stressful/emergency situations.
- Coordinate STARS site if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment.
- Adhere to Trojan Safety Services Ltd Safe Work Practices and Hazard ID Procedures.
- Sign in/out personnel on location.
- Complete daily paperwork, including safety meetings, head counts, operation reports, hazard identifications, service tickets, and incident reports.
- Achieve and maintain 100% compliance with Trojan’s Health and Safety Program.
- Complete daily checklists using the Formstack app for AED, medication kits, trauma and airway bags, oxygen bottles.
- Ensure phone and radio checks and daily team contacts are maintained.
- Attend daily safety/toolbox and operations meetings.
- Assist in identifying health hazards, near misses, and site hazards.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous employment in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Ability to travel within Alberta for extended periods due to remote worksite locations.
- Maintain an air of friendly professionalism when working close to crews.
- Character traits: confident, responsible, practical, adaptable, safety-conscious, effective communicator, problem solver, decision-maker.
- Physical fitness and good observation skills.
- Ability to work long hours and consecutive shifts, day and night.
- Normal color vision for safety systems.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence & current (within 3 months) Driver’s Abstract.
- WHMIS (provided), TDG (provided), OFA3 certification (current).
