We are looking for a Rental Coordinator in our Acheson, Alberta, Canada office. Your mission as Rental Coordinator is to be the customer contact point on rental equipment, managing existing customer accounts, generating sales by answering calls, solving problems, issues, and concerns of customers, following up as needed to ensure resolutions, as well as coordinating documents and maintaining customer-tracking data with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You should keep updated on all rental equipment features and applications. You will implement quality process improvements focusing on safety, operations, and customer service, and be responsible for the following activities:

  1. Creating reservations and rentals in the system along with the accompanying documentation.
  2. Researching and locating equipment for the salespeople as needed.
  3. Assisting with Accounts Receivable (AR) and following up on past due invoices.
  4. Assisting with creating purchase orders for vendors and helping to process invoices.
  5. Maintaining and updating expiring rental contract return dates.
  6. Supporting logistical arrangements.

Location: This position is located in Acheson, Alberta, Canada, and will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Experience Requirements: Minimum one year of experience in customer service, sales, and/or rental business.

Education Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, kneel.

Knowledge: Effective verbal skills, selling practices and techniques. Knowledge of applicable Atlas Copco Rental equipment is required. Excellent customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency in various computer software programs such as Office is required.
