Location

Our Senior Business Development Executive will operate remotely OR be based out of one of our major Canadian office locations - Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON.

The Opportunity

TELUS Digital and Zendesk have recently partnered closely to deepen our CX capabilities and digital footprint. This partnership unlocks significant potential for our firm, which our Senior Business Development Executive at TELUS Digital Solutions will leverage to lead revenue growth and client engagement within the Zendesk ecosystem. This role is responsible for building and driving pipeline development and expanding market share through innovative sales strategies and exceptional relationship management.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and KPIs
  2. Own the full sales cycle—from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market presence and maximize revenue opportunities
  4. Foster strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term account growth
  5. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, leveraging data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
  6. Collaborate with marketing, business development, and product teams to streamline sales operations and enhance go-to-market strategies
  7. 7+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within the SaaS or customer service technology space with direct experience working with Zendesk products and solutions
  8. Deep understanding of CRM platforms and modern sales technologies
  9. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  10. Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  11. Expertise in pipeline management, lead generation, and strategic account planning
  12. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to create actionable performance insights
  13. Background in customer service or support software sales
  14. Demonstrated success in managing and scaling high-performing sales teams
  15. Proficiency in forecasting, territory planning, and strategic sales execution

Annual Performance Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on personal, division/business unit, and company performance. The range displayed is only the annual base salary. Salary offers are based on various factors including skills, experience, and qualifications, and are determined during the interview process. TELUS Digital conducts regular compensation audits to ensure pay equity.

Annual Base Salary Range (Commission Eligible): $132,000—$165,000 CAD
