The Leader, Fraud Product will show leadership for product analysis, product management, and business analysis team. This role is split between a Player/Coach role, where time is shared between team management (~50%) and being deployed into squad work (~50%). This position focuses on product research and strategy, insights development, requirements development, data analysis, and performance tracking.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of product managers, providing guidance and support, helping them develop in their roles. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
  • Providing vision for Fraud platform and defining product roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring that Fraud initiatives align with and contribute to the company's strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to develop clear and detailed product requirements. Ensure that product requirements align with the overall product strategy and vision.
  • Supporting Head of Product, Fraud and collaborating with FP&A to manage financial performance and resource planning, and to set and achieve team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the product. Regularly review and analyze performance data to assess product impact and propose informed adjustments to the product strategy.
  • Collaborating with Strategy and CCO teams to gather insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Utilizing market trends, competitor analysis, and data to monitor product performance, identify opportunities for growth and future feature development. Work with Strategy and Data teams to extract meaningful insights that can guide product roadmap.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams/squads, ensuring alignment and coordination to achieve product development and launch objectives.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and internal teams.

You bring:

  • Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, or similar platforms for planning, tracking, and collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze data to inform product decisions, utilizing tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools.
  • Ability to manage budget and resources against outcomes across multiple squads.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems alongside Product Owners, Technical Leaders, and Delivery Managers to maximize squad velocity.
  • A solid understanding of technology trends, development methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Proficient in conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Familiarity with product development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
