Qualifications

Regulated Pharmacy Technician
London Drugs is a proud Canadian company based out of Richmond, BC and operating 80+ stores in Western Canada. Our focus is optimal patient care using semi-private counselling booths, counselling rooms, advanced robotic dispensing technology, monthly clinical programs and a cooperative team of pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians have the opportunity to participate in several professional roles including Travel Medicine, INR monitoring, CDE, and Long term care. You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties will include customer service, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties. Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities will include involvement of ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy department inventory. Regulated pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and passed the exams. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment.
The successful candidate will have the following:
  1. Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory.
  2. Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, & management.
  3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
  5. Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
  6. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a very fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach.
  8. Basic computer skills.
  9. Experience preferable.

This is a Full Time position. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week.
