The J2EE Lead Developer (Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst - C13) is a senior-level position responsible for web application development, including infrastructure, legacy application reconciliation reports, and support for product integrations (equities, fixed income, derivatives, municipals, mortgages, options).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with management teams to ensure functional integration and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
• Resolve complex problems through evaluation of business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in application programming, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow knowledge.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of business areas and their integration.
• Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, and allocate work accordingly.
• Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Java development experience (Core, JDBC, Concurrency, Multi-Threading, Rest API, Collections, I/O, SpringBoot, Microservices).
• Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, Node.js.
• Shell scripting experience.
• SQL experience, preferably with Oracle and DB2.
• Experience with application servers (Apache, Tomcat).
• Proficiency with build tools (Eclipse, BitBucket, GitHub, UDeploy, Lightspeed, Team City, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, Autosys, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle).
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with ECS applications (OpenShift, Docker, RedHat, Lightspeed).
• Experience with messaging services (Tibco EMS, IBM MQ, Solace, Kafka, FIX, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with SFTP servers (Jscape).
• Experience implementing MSPKI certificates.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
