Clerk - Jasper, AB Front Desk - Athabasca Hotel

Location: Jasper, AB
Pay: $17 an hour
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Work Setting:
- Hotel, motel, resort
- Rural area

Tasks:

  1. Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  2. Resolve complaints and claims
  3. Process group arrivals and departures
  4. Take, cancel, and change room reservations
  5. Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  6. Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  7. Exchange foreign currency
  8. Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  9. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  10. Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  11. Follow emergency and safety procedures
  12. Perform clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
  13. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  14. Assist clients/guests with special needs
  15. Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
  16. Provide customer service
