The Data Office Department drives and continuously improves the way data is handled throughout the organization. It aims to satisfy requirements related to principles for effective enterprise data aggregation and reporting and supports evolving regulatory requirements.

The Data Office Department includes:

• Data Privacy and Protection

The role reports to the Head of the Metadata and Lineage Team and supports data management and data quality activities.

The analyst will contribute to implementing and maintaining the data office framework, working closely with business partners, technology teams, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities may include project work or BAU activities:

Data Management & Quality

• Implement and maintain data management and quality processes, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
• Monitor, assess, and report on data quality issues, identifying inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce validation rules and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs related to data quality.
• Work with IT, Business Analysts, and Data Owners to address issues and improve practices.
• Ensure metadata and data lineage are reviewed and updated regularly.
• Support data integration initiatives, ensuring incoming data meets quality standards.
• Identify data risks and provide training to relevant teams.
• Participate in improving data management practices through process optimization and automation.

Training and Occupational Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• 5+ years of professional experience in data management
• Preferred experience in data governance, privacy, or process improvement
• Experience preparing presentations for senior management and handling large datasets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus
• Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra or AbInitio is a plus
