Senior Clinical Specialist - Coronary Structural Heart (Manitoba)

Role Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to provide clinical, technical, and educational expertise to support the development of Medtronic products in the market. The role involves acting as a therapy champion, liaising with the sales organization, and applying consultative selling techniques to promote Medtronic products and services. It also includes communicating technological developments, educational impacts, competitive activities, and customer feedback to the Business Unit to maximize the use of Medtronic's portfolios. Building long-term customer relationships and contributing to account strategies are essential components of this role, in collaboration with Account Managers, Strategic Partnership Managers, and Regional Sales Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site education and consulting sessions.
- Support field personnel to ensure optimal outcomes and customer service.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement sales plans.
- Participate in industry conventions, forums, and meetings to promote product awareness.
- Work closely with Clinical Leads and Regional Sales teams to support customer cases and sales efforts.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities with the Sales and Clinical Support Teams.
- Serve as a technical resource for specific medical products or solutions.
- Report complaints and adverse reactions as required.
Product Champion Responsibilities
- Act as the therapy expert and product ambassador for Medtronic solutions.
- Provide implant and follow-up support on-site.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales on training and educational events.
- Assist in creating sales and educational materials.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors’ products.
Customer Education
- Train customers on safe and effective product use.
- Provide technical explanations and demonstrations to various healthcare professionals.
- Consult with physicians during procedures involving Medtronic products.
- Gather and relay customer feedback on product performance and design.
- Conduct training at Medtronic Centers of Excellence and on-site follow-ups.
- Create and deliver presentations during workshops and training sessions.
- Serve as an expert on product setup, demonstrations, and troubleshooting.
Technical and Clinical Support
- Provide technical support for product implants and troubleshooting.
- Gather market and customer satisfaction data, communicating insights to marketing.
- Support clinicians with presentations and publications.
- Assist with clinical studies data collection.
- Act as a field resource for Account Managers, maintaining structured communication regarding customer interactions.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support sales growth and new therapy launches.
- Implement business and marketing strategies aligned with regional goals.
- Segment and prioritize customers and leverage the product portfolio accordingly.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of technologies, procedures, and competitors.
- Manage field inventory and document clinical and sales activities accurately.
- Ensure ongoing personal training and compliance with ethical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 8 years of clinical specialist experience in a medical device pacing company, or 7 years with healthcare or engineering experience and a High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Biology, Physiology, Engineering, Sciences, Nursing, Perfusion, or Business.
- Completion of sales training and negotiation skills.

This role may require physical activities, travel, and a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
