Reporting to the Branch Manager, this individual contributor role involves performing routine warehouse duties such as receiving, storing, and shipping farm supplies.

What you will do:
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers
  • Plan and coordinate the proper warehousing of products
  • Check for damaged articles, quality, and quantity; record received quantities; report damages and shortages to the manager/supervisor
  • Operate forklift equipment as needed
  • Handle and store materials in accordance with industry regulations; complete related documentation
  • Draw from stock to fill customer orders
  • Make deliveries in company trucks, potentially overnight, as needed
  • Coordinate shipments with transportation organizations
  • Complete shipping documentation and coordinate warehouse space for shipping and receiving
  • Maintain product condition by turning and monitoring stock
  • Conduct regular inventory checks
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a positive image program at the branch
  • Participate in local community activities as requested
  • Promote the services of the facility
  • Keep the manager informed of stock levels
  • Comply with Nutrien Ag Solutions' and industry safety standards at all times
  • Keep facilities and grounds clean, tidy, well-maintained, and free of fire hazards
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and minor repairs
  • Maintain stock control records
  • Travel overnight as needed using company resources
  • Complete other assignments to achieve business objectives
What you will bring:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An engaged safety-first mindset
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and the public
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems such as Microsoft Windows and email
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly organized
  • Mechanical operation experience
  • Ability to move 50-60 pounds
  • Previous experience with SAP software is a bonus but not required
