POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the CEO, the VP Chief Information Officer is responsible for providing strategic direction for TransForm’s enterprise architecture, data, information management, privacy, security, and compliance. Supports policies and governance for Information Systems, oversees clinical systems and integration, especially related to Oracle Health/clinical applications. Participates in business strategy development and manages major technological initiatives to ensure privacy compliance and client services supporting organizational goals.

• Develops and oversees the operating budget ($6m annually) and capital budget ($2.5-$4m annually).
• Engages with stakeholders including members, vendors, and regional partners.
• Develops and executes TransForm’s Digital Strategic and Operating plans.
• Manages IT areas such as Cyber Security, disaster recovery, identity and access management, privacy, and information security.
• Aligns clinical systems and application development with organizational goals.
• Ensures Data Governance and manages application and integration lifecycle.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Conduct security audits and compliance verification of systems and processes.
• Knowledge of industry/government regulations such as PHIPPA, FIPPA, PIPEDA, PCI, and others related to health information and privacy.
• Experience with threat risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, and third-party risk assessments.
• Develop strategies to address information security risks and analyze system data for compliance and risk trends.
• Manage projects including planning, governance, and team management.
• Develop security metrics and design secure system architectures.
• Implement and manage security processes including patch management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with security standards like ISO 2700x, NIST, COBIT, etc.
• Lead privacy compliance initiatives, privacy program development, and breach management.
