About the Opportunity

Edison Smart are partnered with aglobal leader in IoT connectivity and smart technology solutions is hiring a Vice President of IoT Product Sales to lead and scale revenue operations across the EMEA region. This executive role is ideal for a high-impact commercial leader with a proven track record in B2B tech sales and a deep understanding of the IoT ecosystem.
The VP will define go-to-market strategies, develop key verticals (smart cities, industrial automation, healthcare), and manage direct and indirect sales teams. With innovation and customer success at the core, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of connected solutions in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across EMEA markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise customers, government bodies, and strategic accounts.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing sales organization focused on transitioning from hardware to solution-based selling.
  • Identify high-growth verticals and tailor go-to-market strategies for smart infrastructure, industrial IoT, and healthcare sectors.
  • Drive indirect sales strategy by managing channel partners, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to influence product innovation and roadmap direction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, legal, and product teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build visibility and partnerships.
Qualifications
  • 15–20 years of experience in B2B tech sales, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success scaling sales organizations across the EMEA region within the IoT, telecom, or enterprise tech sector.
  • Deep expertise in the IoT landscape, including AI, smart energy, cloud platforms, and wireless connectivity.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing, customer-centric sales teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Skilled in CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and pipeline management.
  • Experience with complex solution selling and managing multi-channel revenue streams.
  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% across EMEA.
