Role Overview

We’re seeking an expert Digital Asset Manager to support the management and growth of the DAM initiative at Spotify. This role is within the Design Platform team, which services multiple cross-functional teams managing creative assets at Spotify.

Responsibilities

  • Design user workflows, including user provisioning for internal and external users
  • Oversee procedures for ingesting content and adding metadata from Spotify teams
  • Maintain accurate procedures and records, including regular tracking and reporting
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues with IT and third-party support
  • Collaborate with the DAM Program Manager on executing and planning projects
  • Work with art directors and buyers on image rights and tagging processes
  • Ensure transparent communication and document issues and solutions
  • Share knowledge and educate users about the DAM system
  • Lead training sessions to empower users to operate the DAM independently and raise support issues

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital asset management administration (Bynder preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of rights management, data modeling, and metadata standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in project management documentation and status reporting
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Library Information Science is a plus
  • We support a distributed workforce, with this role based in Toronto, Canada
  • Operating within Eastern and GMT time zones for collaboration
