The opportunity

We are seeking a self-driven Cloud Architect to plan and design technology solutions for client engagements.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will enable, drive, and lead initiatives focusing on establishing and embedding cloud architecture & design governance across the organization. Key functions include:

1. Lead initiatives for setting up cloud architecture & technology strategies, standards, governance, and best practices for the organization.
2. Identify appropriate cloud technologies for specific solutions and drive automation and templating for scale across products and applications.
3. Architect & design cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) that are optimal, secure, scalable, resilient, reliable, and compliant with EY standards.
4. Develop strategies and tools for deploying, monitoring, and managing cloud applications and services.
5. Implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like VSTS, Jira, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef.
6. Build quick POCs and explore new technology solutions through coding.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Deep understanding of cloud computing, data technologies, and deployment options (preferably in Microsoft Azure and AWS). Expertise in designing distributed, scalable products, and knowledge of application, infrastructure, and security architecture. Experience with IAAS and PAAS, and familiarity with Azure services. Strong business acumen, expertise in DevOps, Agile, containers, and tools like VSTS, Jira. Development experience in .Net (C#), Java, JavaScript, and familiarity with front-end technologies, REST/Webservices, SQL, XML, JSON, Linux, ELK stack, Splunk, Solr, GIT, Ant/Maven, Jenkins. Knowledge of Data Ingestion, Analytics, AI technologies is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of deep technology experience in large enterprises or web-scale companies.
• 3-5 years of experience in architecture, design, implementation, or support of highly distributed cloud applications.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
• Experience presenting ideas, papers, or patents.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications; experience with AWS and Google Cloud is accepted.
