Job description

Wood is currently seeking a Senior Structural Designer to join our Mining & Minerals team in Trail, British Columbia.

The Senior Structural Designer will apply extensive and comprehensive knowledge of structural design principles and practices to the organization’s products and services. This role has the overall responsibility for providing Structural Design support on heavy industrial, power, and mining projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Department Manager, this position will require working in the location of Trail, British Columbia, just 3 hours from Kelowna BC and 6.5 hours to Vancouver BC.

Our office provides full engineering, procurement, and construction services on a wide variety of industrial projects related to mining, mineral development, processing, and hydroelectric generation. Additionally, our engineering team and company-wide environmental specialists focus on Carbon Management & reduction initiatives to provide solutions that reduce emissions and protect our environment.

The Trail office currently numbers over 50 engineers, designers, and support personnel. Salary Range: CDN 120,000 – 150,000 per year
