The Associate Insurance Advisor I plays a key role in supporting and developing agency operations through sales and service of Co-operators personal lines products (auto and home insurance), and may provide basic support for additional product lines.

How You Will Create Impact
  • Sell, service, and promote profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
  • Advise clients by recommending coverages and policies that meet their needs.
  • Prospect and cross-sell by identifying additional products/services beneficial to clients.
  • Perform front-line risk assessments and selection following underwriting guidelines.
  • Identify risks requiring inspections and complete inspections if needed.
  • Achieve individual goals related to client service, sales, quality, and productivity.
  • Support programs to build multi-client relationships.
  • Respond to client questions, resolve complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients' financial and personal information.
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and service providers.
  • Possession of a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance may be required.
  • Subject to background checks, including Criminal Record and Consumer History, if selected.
