Job Title : Procurement / Supply Chain - Inventory Planner Lv

Schedule : Mon to Fri / AM to PM PST

Work : Onsite

Mode of interview: In-person

The Inventory Planner II will plan, identify, and evaluate the distribution network inventories through analysis of the inventory replenishment system. They will conduct inventory analysis on assignments of moderate complexity and variety. We seek an experienced professional to participate in implementing policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, monitoring, and ensuring inventory security. Responsibilities include maintaining data relevant to network distribution planning activities such as capacity, constraints, logistics, suppliers, master data, and location data. The role involves contributing to inventory plans for assigned products or locations, participating in handling network inventory according to set metrics, generating and executing cycle and safety stock plans, and solving moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Two years of related work experience

  • One year of supply or inventory planning experience
Key Accountabilities
  1. Receive goods and services into storage locations to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize purchase-to-pay non-conformance, keeping received materials segregated, and returning defective goods to suppliers with proper documentation.
  2. Ensure inventory stock and safety stock values are accurate and identify obsolete, consignment, and overstock items systematically.
  3. Schedule inspections of goods to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  4. Define the most appropriate inventory management process based on asset or spare part demand.
  5. Lead and monitor storage practices for parts, collaborating with suppliers to align with best practices, ensuring inventory is stored for direct placement into the plant.
  6. Make purchase requests for stock items to maintain desired inventory levels, partnering with local suppliers for vendor-controlled inventory.
  7. Initiate and track procurement of stock parts required for standard job plans to ensure availability for scheduled work.
  8. Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, escalating complex issues to appropriate staff.
