Position: Summer Experience Program - Temporary/Full-Time

Location: DSB1 location / Hybrid

Reporting to: Manager of Building Services

Start date: June 2, 2025, until August 22, 2025

Vacancy Details: 35 hours/week - 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, verify, and document information to support various programs in the Facilities Department.
  • Collect and document inventory (furniture, equipment, systems) at facilities across the Board.
  • Review, verify, and log data into the database.
  • Organize and prioritize data and documentation to define the Board's needs.
Qualifications
  • Working towards a degree from an accredited university or diploma from an accredited college.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with staff and supervisors.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems (Excel, Word, Database); AutoCAD knowledge is an asset; database knowledge is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license.
  • Current, Board-approved WHMIS Certificate.
  • A Vulnerable Sector Screening is required for applicants 18 or older.
