About This Opportunity

Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) is the leading manufacturer of paint booths and finishing systems for a wide variety of industries. As a mid-size manufacturing company, our employees are supported through direct interaction with co-workers.

What You Will Do

1. Set up equipment and weld parts using gas welding equipment.
2. Assist the Supervisor with employee activities, including evaluation, discipline, and Corrective Action.
3. Stay informed of changes and new procedures to adhere to the production schedule.
4. Analyze and resolve work situations, assisting production workers with problems.
5. Communicate information, support problem resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Assist the Supervisor in directing the work of welders.
7. Follow and enforce all safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
8. Support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our Quality System Manual and Procedures.

What You Have to Offer

• High school diploma or GED.
• One-year technical school certificate preferred (experience may substitute).
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience.
