About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager or delegate, the Unit Aide plays a vital role on the healthcare team. Responsibilities include ordering, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment to meet patient needs. An understanding of infection control principles is essential for ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. The role also involves providing both direct and indirect support for patient care.

About You

We are interested in candidates who have:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Previous experience in a similar role (asset)
  • Understanding of cleanliness importance in a hospital setting
  • Ability to build good relationships
  • Good judgment and initiative
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties
  • Knowledge of additional languages, especially French (asset)

Hours
  • Permanent part-time, 37.5 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $21.45 - $23.77
